Congressman John Lewis

andrea works a part time job at The Durham Museum and was recently asked to cover the event where Congressman John Lewis spoke. Congressman Lewis was a neat man who had amazing stories to tell of the civil rights movement. his mentor was Dr. Martin Luther King. the lecture by Congressman Lewis was really captivating and he had everyones full attention as he described the events of "Bloody Sunday". currently at the museum is an exhibit named: Eyewitness, Originals from the National Archives. this exhibit is a must see! bloody sunday is just one of the events mentioned in the exhibit. i posted some pics from Congressman Lewis's visit. enjoy!
